SEIZUREDOME This is a remake of a game I made a while ago called Unholy Stage. That game sucked a lot but the concept wasn't all that bad. I used a fancy background effect and extra polish to make it more worthwhile. And some good music. Instructions: Don't let the enemies push you against the edge of the arena or you die! Kill them for score, combo kills for bonus scores. Five power-ups and two special weapon pick-ups Download:64digits.com/users/cactus/sdome.zipHighscore:h1.ripway.com/cactussoft/seizure/highscore.phpControls:WASD + Mouse left & right Letter keys for inputing name Enter for starting Music by Aaron Kurtz

Looks like something Sin & Punishment-esque if you ask me. That, or maybe Robotron.

Hahaahaahaha
That was one of the coolest most funny games I have ever played. First of all the music was awesome and interesting. The graphics had a unique basic 2d style to it. The gameplay was also standard but there was something special that made it fun. The naked ladies and babies was an interesting touch. Overall this game is very new and unique, although there have been many games like this in the past, I think this one stands out.
Only played it twice. Back to playing!

egads, has someone placed a curse on my computer so I'm forbidden from experiencing any cactus-flavoured awesome?
The compressed (zipped) folder is invalid.
Actually psychosomnium finally works for me (turns out some weird glitch stopped me from being able to play any GM7 game...) but that's besides the point.
edit: disregard the above, tried again and it works now. But why oh why must I wait???

ok to comment on actual game, this is like mu-cade meets burn the trash meets headache. In other words, quite fabulous! Only nitpick is that you can barely see your bullets - they're much less well defined than the enemies and you can't really see them. Not that it hugely matters given the crosshair but still. Also this WILL damage your eyes, but at the same time will open your mind. Fantabulous! Make more! *hopes for super boss rush version*

Seriously, what drives you to make good games every five minutes?

Hi, nice game. It's great fun to play.
But I must critique because it is my duty as a developer.
If the .exe is going to poop files out of it, put in a folder inside of the zip, so the files don't get all over the desktop.
The score should be in larger font than the kills, because it is more important.
Needs audiovisual clue for when time for continuing a combo runs out.
More dramatic death. Someone mentioned bullets easier to see, and I agree.
Pushing Escape should not exit immediately IF you are in the middle of a game. From the menu it is OK.
You should only have to set your name and graphic level the first time. After that, you should be able to change it from the menu.
It spits out a "result.txt" file that is strangely named and appears to be a paypal link in HTML. Should it be something like "donate.html" instead?
Current weapon ammo needs to be more prominent too.
Bottom of the list is thinking about a windowed option.

I thought there was one. Or do you mean a text that says "356,000 combo bonus!"? I was meaning to add messages like that, also for when picking up power-ups, but I never got around to it. Why'd you press escape if you don't want to quit? Ah, well. I could fix that. Visible bullets aren't on my priority list, but a more dramatic death could be a nice thing... There is no menu and I've had people complain about only entering your name once. That's not my working, but caused by the dll I use to send highscores... I don't think it's too necessary. If I made it more prominent, people would just complain that I cluttered up the screen. Wouldn't be hard to add. Bottom line, this was just a minigame I made in two days. There's a ton of things that could be improved but I didn't want to stick with the game for too long. No matter how much I polish it, it could still always be better, and the concept is quite limited. I didn't see any reason to keep working on it more than I did. And I have a lot of other games in the making which are more worthy of my attention

Great game, one of your best. I drew a crowd in the Gamelab offices playing it.

hello, thanks for the great game. I like how you can be doing great, accruing a great combo score, when all of a sudden you die due to the big car thing or something. It makes this type of game more addictive.

Would someone kindly tell me what the blue cross powerup does? I think it sends out some sort of explosion after I kill an enemy killing more? No?
And damn. You guys are good.
