Hi there - I know I'm not very active on these forums but in the "Read this first" post it says: and I think this at least has interesting graphics, so this should be okay. Also, this game contains adult and masochistic themes and is most definitely not for children! I may be hyping it a little too much here, but there are a few bits which are quite nasty. Inferno is a 3D black and white tunnel shooter. The player falls through the 9 circles of Hell, each circle having a different backdrop, more difficult sequences and a different boss. Some screenshots: As you can see, it's a little bit on the freaky side. The visuals were partly inspired by Killer7, although any pixelised images (such as the disclaimer at the start) were more inspired by Cactus. Anyway, the game can be downloaded here: files.filefront.com/infernorar/;13489903;/fileinfo.htmlThe file's in .rar format. If that's a problem I could upload a .zip file instead. Also, you'll need Direct 9.0c to play - note that there is actually more than one version of DX 9.0c, so if it tells you that you've got the wrong one, just download the more recent one. Well... I think that's everything... Enjoy!

Oops, sorry it took so long to reply - nobody posted so I thought this had been forgotten. I'm uploading it again now. It was made in Dark Basic Professional: basically, you get polygon drawing and textures and stuff (ie. the stuff you need for every game) but there's no "FPS" framework or "RPG" framework or "Rail shooter" framework: you have to build that yourself. It's fairly versatile. Also, a few people I've showed this to have had problems running it - I think it might be that Windows Vista doesn't like Dark Basic, though I'm not sure. EDIT: Okay, here's a download link: rapidshare.com/files/237946459/inferno.rar.htmlAnd another link in case that one goes down: www.megaupload.com/?d=518SBMYM(The second link goes to a file with a different filename, but they're both the same file, just the second one has been renamed.) I tried it on a Vista PC and it worked fine, except that the white gun was black (I think that's a shader problem but I don't know enough about them to fix it, really). So, hopefully it ought to work... famous last words...
