www.yoyogames.com/games/show/66625Going down the list... -Interesting graphics? Every character and bullet has been drawn by hand. -Original gameplay? It's a vertically-oriented shmup in which the player's bullets travel horizontally and diagonally, meaning that you have to get much closer to an enemy in order to destroy them. Automatically firing "tower-ups" and boss battles round out the package. -Shoot 'em up gameplay? Yep. -Been talking to me a bit? Well, I've been talking about you a bit... dopterra.com/russell/Cactus%20Game%20Arcade%20review.mht==Tom

This game made me angry. The ammo feature started pissing me off. Then I waited until I could shoot again, lined up next to an enemy and the shot doesn't go horizontally like last time, but diagonally. And I have to wait until I can fire off another shot? Man, punishing game... I'll play again when I'm less busy

It only shoots diagonally if you're moving to the left or the right while shooting. You're not the first person to get mixed up about it though so I'll have to add a clear explanation of it in-game.
Thanks for playing it, though...
Sorry about the ammo feature, maybe that's not the best idea I've ever had...

Played again and had more fun this time. The graphics look pretty nice, but they're very static at the moment. Some animation would make it a lot more pleasant to look at. There are some neat ideas to the gameplay. I'm not sure they all work very well, but it's interesting to see at least. I'm not sure you should take out the reloading. I also like the idea of enemies being worth more score the longer you let them stay on the screen. If you keep polishing it, this game can probably turn out pretty great
