I finally beat this the other day. I had been just coming back and playing it every once and a while, and this time was actually one of my worse runs. I did China last, and died twice pretty quickly. But then somehow I beat all of the rest of the level on my last life. Great game.

That makes sense, and I imagine you don't want to take the time to upload 40+ games if you aren't sure if it will work.

Hey I'm sure by now you've heard of this new Game Jolt site, and how they are going to share ad revenue with freeware developers. (If not, gamejolt.com/ ) So I was wondering if that sort of thing interests you at all... You have quite the abundance of games and maybe you could earn some extra bucks here and there from it... I really don't know how you feel about it, which is why I am curious...

My only complaint about your games I'd say is that while the shmups are simple and effective at being fun, the adventures are also really short. GCTTC had closure and was fine in that respect, but Psychosomnium really left me wanting more, and I saw potential for more. A while ago you said you were considering taking on a longer project or two, and I would suggest a longer adventure game. Brain Damaged Toon Underworld was originally the sequel to Psychomnium but then evolved into its own story- I would bet money that when it comes out you'll see tons of similarities. And more length.

Hey, I ran across this link : www.2beegames.com/It is a contest for indie developers to get noticed by publishers and maybe even make some cash. Best of all, you can submit previously made games so you don't even have to put work into it. Maybe you'll be interested, maybe not, but I thought I'd at least throw it out there. EDIT: And you can submit more than one game.

After reading your presentation, I decided to make a game. And I did. And here it is. DOWNLOAD : www.yoyogames.com/games/show/75845Stylish arena shmup made in 5 hours. Destroy enemies, but beware, your bullets reflect off the walls and could kill you as well. Upgrade your weapons every five kills, but these 'upgrades' only make it more difficult to survive. Includes online high scores as well. Tell me what you think.

I read the summary of your presentation and you did a good job! I like how a lot of it was very to-the-point and yet so true. I also like how you used humor in I think I actually learned some things that might help me to make games like that. Good work!

Hmm... I'm looking forward to hearing that. Do you get paid for doing that sort of thing?

I liked it a lot. It was a bit difficult to figure out, as I seemed to hit it off the table every time the ball gained speed. But once I figured out the timing of it, I was pretty successful. I haven't had much time to try to beat it as I am finishing up a game for a contest, but I will definitely be coming back to it.

I've made music, comics, artwork, animation and a music video too. Nothing really worth posting about, though. What instruments do you play?

I like it. I think that it fits your style better, and it also seems that you are planning on blogging more regularly. Good work.

It's basically finished, I just need to do the last room. Haven't felt much motivation to work on it though. If only motivation grew on trees... I wish I always had the mindset to work hard on my games too.
