I hope you like this game, the idea came accidentally and im still perfecting it but there is still some stuff in progress that may possibly make it a shoot-em-up type game (we'll see if you can see where im going with it when you play it) but its a simple little game with a big emphasis on trajectories the dot you control. As of right now, the game is simply, well, what it is, and is less playable than I would like, but im still working on the whole concept of it. Soo, hopefully you play it and like it, www.yoyogames.com/games/show/5861woooopeeee!

Graphically, I like it a lot. However, even if I got used to the controls, it lacked fun factor. Indirect controlling like this is nice to experiment with, but I don't think it adds much to the game in this case.
In my opinion, you should experiment with the gameplay concept (the goal of the game) rather than the controls. However, if you use fixed points of gravitation and add obstacles you mustn't touch, the maneuvering could become a lot more interesting. Turning this game into a level based puzzler this way could create a much more entertaining experience. But then, you'd probably have to switch from mouse controls to keyboard, to get more precision.
I'll try to check your game for updates, but you can always post them here too in case I'd forget.

Yes thats pretty much how i feel it is so far as well, im very open to concept ideas and thats a very intreguing thing that I'd never thought of before, and actually I had this idea of having some sort of enemies that if you hit the dot into them you would lose, but as you get the pulsating stars, you gain a bullet, and when you click the mouse, the bullet shoots at the mouse's point, therefore you are controlling not only your dot with the mouse but also where your bullet will shoot, which should add a fair amount of difficulty in keeping your dot away from the enemies (I have no idea of their shape or size as of right now) as well as moving the circle (mouse indicator) to where you plan to shoot, and possibly more types of bullets.
But I thought about it it might not be too bad if I actually did somewhat a mix of both of our ideas. Your idea of the level-based puzzler and my idea of the enemies and bullet shooting, maybe... I bet I could pull it off, I would just have to give the enemies some actual puzzling reason for being there and not just as extra obstacles, or give the shooting function a more expanded purpose, or something like that I dont know..

I missed some sort of scoring system in there, and I was wondering about the game gets easier the longer you play . But I should shut up. All I have posted on YoYo until now are 2 crappy lite-version-games...
