That is the best hotseat game ever. I just wish the controls would make sense for single player. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stalin_vs._Martians And, for the record, my idea of a wired game mostly involves people who walk in on someone playing it having no idea what is going on.

hm. I love weird games. I LOVE weird games. I LOVE Incredible Crisis, and it pisses me off to no end that there isn't a sequel yet for the DS, because that system would be perfect for it. Some others to check out:
Jesus: Dreadful Bio-Monster - Not really that weird of a game, I just love the title. It's never been translated into english, which sucks since its an adventure game, but most of the characters are all named after biblical characters and the Bio-Monster actually lives on a space station called Jesus. Ah, those wacky Japanese!
Keio Flying Squadron: Gameplay-wise, a pretty basic shmup (although damn hard), but the fact that you play as a 14-year-old girl dressed in a bunny suit riding a dragon (with smaller satellite dragons, of course) fighting giant disembodied cat heads gives it some weird points with me.
Carnage Heart: A 'mech game where you don't actually fight with your mechs. I know, I know, that defeats the purpose, but its really quite cool. You build and program all your mechs (or Over-Kill Engines) before you go into combat, and then send them forth into battle, having only a modicum of control. High learning curve, but very addictive once you get into it.
Tail of the Sun: Another Artdink masterpiece, (No One Can Stop Mr. Domino and Carnage Heart were both Artdink games) Tail of the Sun has you playing as a caveman trying to build a blasphemous tower of mammoth tusks all the way up to the sun. Some very strange gameplay concepts, but they all worked out in the end. One of the first games that actually made open-ended adventure gameplay work.
Dangit, now I feel a burning desire to go back and replay these.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.C.A.T.:_Special_Cybernetic_Attack_TeamSCAT- funny name, is a horizontal shmup with an amazing story. the story "You must destroy them! The earth is counting on you! Good luck" You are a flying man and have balls at your head and feet that shoot at people in an oscillating manner. Can't say more than that because I never made it past the first level (of the 2)

Well when you look into games a lot of them are very weird. Take Kirby for example, you play a pink puff ball that flys around eating things with it's vacuum powers to steal their ability's so you can fight trees with faces the sun and the moon, a giant penguin(Who is King), a blue puff ball with a mask and cape and a cool sword, and then the plots of each game make it weirder. Although I guess the purpose of this topic is games that generally weird not weird if you think about it. So heres some Polychromatic funk monkey War twat Both free, very fun games. and also weird.

i used to be obsessed with crazy flash games Kakato Otoshi - You are a levitating hammer who knocks segments out of various female shoes with the owner still inside them. I used to play this all the time when I worked tech support lines (really addictive). Metal Wolf Chaos (youtube link) - A japanese mech shooter where you play as the us president trying to save america from terrorists. The first level has you bursting through the white house and shooting down helicopters on the white house lawn. Which way adventure - A crazy flash adventure game. play it! it'll only take a few minutes of your time ;D (manticores ftw)

Oh wow. I was watching that and thinking "hmm, this looks cool" until the thing popped out of the chimney and flew into the air, and then this big goofy smile just spread over my face. It's like Katamari Damacy meets Snake, Rattle 'n' Roll.
