About 8 hours ago, I beat Clean Asia! with the Reflector in this stage order:
ƒ`ƒ…ƒEƒSƒN@||„@ƒ^ƒC@||„@ƒJƒ“ƒRƒN (China) --> (Thailand) --> (New Korea)
I want to do an Attractor run, but that's gonna take awhile. I didn't pay attention to my score in this run, so maybe I'll just use the Reflector as a score attack in the future and the Attractor to 'beat the game'.

Does the display tear on your machine? I'm using a Nvidia 6200 GPU and while Protoganda works perfectly, Clean Asia tears a lot. Is there a trick I can use to enable vertical sync? I have tried forcing vsync in the nVidia control panel, but that only works in OpenGL. Perhaps I'm just unlucky with my particular GPU. I beat all stages - individually - with the Reflector. I don't really understand Attractor mode, admittedly. Overall, I found Clean Asia very addictive, I kept going at it until I could beat it. The music really makes it for me. If there's two things I could change about the game, it would be the vsync and the player's ship look more different than the enemy bullets... make it a cyan smiley face, that would stand out more. I don't expect him to make any changes -- I think he would rather make another new game than add frills to the old ones. And he keeps making so many. So prolific! I really like the way he has developed his own, distinct style.

Phenomenal game - any way to make it run windowed, or at least not have it change the desktop resolution to 640x480?

this shit is the freshest. i love the way you animate explosions - it's viscerally satisfying even to die in your games i keep going back to the 'china' level on attractor mode; god i'm glad this doesn't take quarters. but if it did i would sell my lungs.

This game is so incredibly hard - I still couldn't beat it Thailand is quite the easiest level, and I almost bet Korea today... BUT CHINA!! This level ALWAYS owns me. I use the Reflector's protection shield, I use charged shots and sometimes I was even forced to release the power in order to save my hide. But when there are 3 of the rotating ships and 5 of the small, fast shooting ones close in at this very moment, there is no chance to survive. Well, guess I'll beat it someday - if I try hard enough. P.S. A little question, just for interest: How the hell did you script the behavior of the enemy's parts grouping around the center? That is an amazing gameplay factor!! *Admire, admire*

I've been playing this recently. It's a lot of fun, although I need a lot of practice with it! Awesome art style. The LUMINAL/RING enemy in Thailand made me go "that's beautiful!" even as it was killing me.
I was wondering, though, what John Marwin track was used for the Thailand BGM? I've been looking at his CTG Music Community page and I don't think it's up there. I'd really like a copy of it, though, it's an awesome track.

Whats the track in Korea (some1 maybe wants to know the name of the song on China too)? I beat the hard game with Reflector! I'm proud! One of the best games I ever played!! The music in your games fits perfectly, and in Clean Asia! i loved the music. Its great that you have to complete all the levels in a row to win the game, because its so extremly fun that I had to complete it even at the hard times. I not so good with Attractor but I have to beat the game with him too... Only con was that u can't see yourself when u got 100 debris (in attractor mode) and dodging a lot of bullets. In China the light from the "debriscannons" has the same colour as the bullets. I love that nearly th whole game u are fighting against bosses, and that you have to break pieces of the bosses. The last boss in China was cool because you had to shoot his cannons off first, and in Korea/Thailand you always knew how much it was left of the beast, much better than a hp bar. I'm surpised how well you balanced the both guys, so I got the best of two worlds, the unique Atractor and the classic Reflector!

Sorry, I don't think there is. The tool I'm using to develop can't be used to make games for Mac. There has been talks about Mac compatabillity in future versions, though, in which case I'll possibly be able to convert this game so that mac users can play it.
