Cactusquid.
I became an admirer of your games ever since I was introduced to a bunch of them through a special issue from PC Gamer covering free games. I am most impressed your programming abilities, particularly with the games you've made in Game Maker.
I am most impressed with your first-person adventure/shooter games, particularly Mondo Medicals and Mondo Agency. Those games are incredibly sophisticated, especially in the way they combine 2D pixel sprites with advanced 3D objects and environments. Additionally, you go even further by making the games feel like they were filmed by an avant-garde film director.
How did you manage to pull off the effects for your Mondo series in Game Maker? I've checked out a sample of other Game Maker FPSs, and none of them have the sophistication of your work.
Considering your flair with designing retro-FPS games, have you ever considered of doing your own Cactusquid-style parodies of classic FPSs like Wolfenstein 3D and System Shock in Game Maker? Somehow, I think that you might be capable of such a feat.
The reason I'm asking is that I want to develop FPS games on Game Maker, and I want to learn from the master on what Game Maker can do.
