I made an awful game for the new tigsource compo. Basically I just mock a few of Lovecraft's bad ideas. willhostforfood.com/users/dorkman/game.zipPS. The game ends when you've found everything. Yeah, I know it's boring. I might update and make it worth playing at some point in the future.

I was expecting something worse Sure, it's not very deep, but I liked it. It reminds me of those 3d GM Lovecraft games (pretty crap, btw ) crossed with my own abandoned project, Linea... weird.

Lovecraft had no bad ideas >:< Also, that game was the coolest thing I've played in a long time.

It's simple, but still quite enjoyable I like the fisheye effect, too.

I thought this game was great. I liked the feel of it, how the music and the scribbles go together. It seemed really relaxed and chilled out. Except when it told me I might be being followed ;D its a cool little game

6th place woo! how does that strike you? if you feel unhappy with the game do you think that the game was only voted up because you're you, or because people actually like it? (i think it's pretty cool btw) would you ever consider doing a stephen king and make games under a different name to see if they're as popular with an unknown author? (i'm actually just curious btw, apologies if this comes off offensive)

Also my consent goes out to scattle for his entry. I didn't play it yet (willhostforfood is labeled malicious or something) But the screen shot looks nice and it shoes that you have more patience than me.

Looks interesting, however I get the following error message when I attempt to launch the game:
___________________________________________ ERROR in action number 1 of Other Event: Game Start for object objMenu:
Error defining an external function.
Running Vista 64-bit.

how do you produce the hand-drawn animation type effect? Do you still use sprites?
