Lets post some art stuff that we`ve been working on! Even if its not video game related and even if its not digitally created. I WANT TO SEE other peoples stuff!

Whoa, I really like that first one! What medium is that? It looks almost like a traditionally painted collage. I've started to get into digital painting lately, after taking a digital media class and looking at some really helpful tutorials. I did this still life for homework, which I was pretty proud of. And then some Mother 3 fanart just for kicks. I might do a Chulip picture after this, since me and a friend just beat the game. What a trip.

thanks! They are charcoal drawings with bits of some ancient national geographics.
Nice paintings! I like the Mother 3 one especially, I finished that game recently. Did you use a tablet for those? and if so, what one was it? I've got a piece of shit tablet and it can be slightly awkward to use.

I've tried to use charcoal a couple times, but I'm not too good at it myself. Thanks for the compliments. And yeah, I have a Wacom graphire4 tablet, but it's started to die on me...I was going to send it in for repairs, but I think I'll just ask for a new one for Christmas instead.

fawful: Awesome! I'd say it's Howl's Flying Castle meets Stardust meets Skywhales meets... Diglett?
cactus: I love the way you're art is so... I'd use the word "totalistic". Lines never cross, so it looks as if it's done all parts at one time, as if preplanned or at least unmodified after something appears.

Thanks for the compliments! Whoa, fawful, that picture is awesome! I was gonna say that it reminded me of concept art for an animated film or something...I can definitely see the Howl's Moving Castle influence. Also, cactus, I'm sure I've posted something like this before, but I'm still loving your art style. It's so clean and distinct, and it's realistic without having to be super-detailed. I really like those sprites, too (used for a fighting game or beat-'em-up maybe?), and I actually would like to use one for a forum avatar if you'd be okay with that
