actually, instead of just a level editor and online level sharing server, it would be cool if you made a whole other version, with more of a story and other missions besides penetrate and destroy, like rescue a guy and hijack a jeeps.

I really love this game! I just downloaded it and started playing. I just had one question, does the score only save once you beat all the levels? I never seem to see anything for my last score.

Yes. The game's pretty short anyway.

I can't seem to get the editor the work. I will make a level and when I try to save and upload it the game tells me that no player or castle was found. Can someone help me? Is there any documentation on the editor?

You need to place at least one player soldier and one castle on the level for it to be playable

Hi, I registered just to post my thoughts on this game.
One thing I really like about Cactus' games is the sense that he blends style, meaning and gameplay together in a cohesive, meaningful, entertaining whole. The final boss of Illegal communication, as well as the overall atmosphere of both of the Mondo games are perfect examples of this: not only does he have something interesting to make you think about, he does it in a way that is stylish and fun.
Xoldiers is no exception. The pixel-art, the bombastic pre-mission messages, the way you sometimes have to deliberately kill your own xoldiers and the fact they can't look back all creates an incredibly fun game, with a rather unsettling atmosphere. And the level editor vastly extends its lifespan - so, top marks!

I get an error window at the beginning of the first level:
___________________________________________ ERROR in action number 1 of Draw Event for object controller:
Trying to use non-existing surface.
Might be a problem with my video driver? This machine has integrated video chip (VIA Chrome9 HC IGP) at 1024 x 768. I've just moved out of my house, so I can't test it on my PC I usually play Stallions on. :-(
Look forward to playing it soon, though.

Sounds like something caused by the graphics card, yes.

I also get an error except its about trying to find a music file and some other stuff, not really a big deal cause im running it on a mac running pc, but just wondering what do you program with? At first i was thinking you did it with c, because thats pretty much standard, but either im not used to getting errors on a pc, you actually spent time to make a error catching system, or your using something else.
