That's cool, Osaka! I'm glad people like this game enough to actually draw stuff and post it here

So is there supposed to be a link to this in this thread, or do I get it from somewhere else? Or am I just dumb as hell?
I wanna play it.

www.cactus-soft.co.nr/ <- There you can download all my games. I should put links up for those who get to the forum from other sites than mine, though.

Hey Cactus, out of curiosity, were you aware that there apparently is a real Mondo Medical? It doesn't appear to be very interesting, but here's a list that becomes much more entertaining if you imagine that "Mondo Medical devices" = "firearms": " Product BenefitsReasons for the adoption of Mondo Medical devices are: 1. The opportunity to reduce staff costs and pressure, 2. Accuracy of treatment 3. Reduction in exposure to litigation 4. Continuous monitoring 5. The ageing of the world wide population requiring more ICU/CCU high dependency beds, 6. Continuing problems with drug administration, 7. Once adopted, unlikely to be restricted in use, and, 8. The reduction in medication "

The first time I played this game was at night with all the lights off and my speakers on fairly loud. I almost shit my pants when the guy in the second level screams at you.

Haha, madamluna beat me to posting it. Put Australia down on my list of places never to go for medical care. Also, you may be interested to know there is an actual Mondo travel company. It's not as unintentionally hilarious as Mondo Medical, unfortunately. And try as I might, the only Mondo 'agency' I could find was this one. But back on-topic, I played Mondo Medicals some time ago. I can't for the life of me remember why, or what introduced me to your games. What I do remember is being so completely traumatized by Dissorientation 2's scary-face-monster that for the rest of the game I was carefully peeking around every corner, hoping that another one wouldn't pop up. Every end-of-level door had me struggling to decide which side I was safer on. I'll never forget the terror I felt upon rounding a corner and coming face-to-face with the Preacher (is that his name?) It took me several months after that to work up the courage for Mondo Agency. Mondo Medicals is a masterpiece of suspense and horror. It seems you did absolutely everything you could to throw the player off, from the low resolution, to the slightly-angled text, to the horrible breathing sounds, to the bizarre camera angles and grammar of the cutscenes. And, of course, the faceless glares of the Preacher and monster, at least when you first enter. You've drawn on every primal fear there is to create this game, and the result is nothing short of sheer terror. EDIT: Oh, there's something I've been meaning to ask you. Are the Medicals characters intended to be the same species/beings as the Agency characters?

Are the Medicals characters intended to be the same species/beings as the Agency characters? Well, one thing in common. They all have some sort of TV face.

Well, cactus said that the game can mean different things to different people. To me it represents a section of the world-any section organization and such- that tries to go against government or greater belief/power organization and in the end gets shut down (shot, fired).

There's this polish guy called Zdzislaw Beksinski, and he's a quite famous painter.. But one of his works caught my eye. Is it just me or does he look like The Shouty Priest?

The most memorable and effective part of Mondo is the style of the monologues. They have a kind of child-like quality of being imperfect, not following the rules of grammar but making sense still. This, for me, is what gives them their haunting power. It's so simple and so naive that it creeps right under your skin. I don't really understand why though.

Mondo Medicals is the most frightening game I have ever played. It is also one of the best games I have ever played. It is easily the best game I have ever owned at no cost.
I found out about Cactus Games several months back. I actually mistakenly played Agency first, but soon rectified that error. I have spread the word around my high school about Medicals and Agency, and enough people have now experienced them (no one plays the mondos, they must be experienced) that some have actually begun to speak Mondo. It's creepy.
