The decision WAS his to discontinue the merchandising, what about that don't you understand? And it was a smart one. He said they don't really sell -- and they won't for any real profit, he's right.
What, do you think that someone will see one of his shirts on you and automatically become interested in VIDEOGAMES? If the products I merchandised did not translate into REAL profit either from standalone purchases (which they will not) or by proxy (Someone becoming interested with a product), yeah, good luck with that... then forget it, it's a waste of time.
Of course, it's his decision -- and it seems he's already made it.

Oh boy...
Dude, what the hell is up with you??
1) You try to manipulate cactus 2) You try to bribe cactus 3) You think every decision about his games is yours 4) You insult other members
Do you find that funny? Or smart? Or at least logical? Well I find it stupid. Really, get a grip.
Well... It seems that one of us is trying to waste Cac's time and cost him money, while the other is trying to save him time and trying to come up with some money to give him. I know which one I am...how about you?
Don't to send me every little piece of trash you think of privately...plenty of room here for your backwards opinion (on this particular matter, that is).

Trying to blame me by publishing my PN, yah? I'm not embarassed of what I said to you, your whole argumentation in here has no point. If cactus wants to print some shirts, it's HIS decision. If he doesn't want to, it's HIS decision. The only thing you did and I didn't is give away some money - and that doesn't give you advantages. At ALL.
So one of us is simply making suggestions, the other one is either a troll or stupid or both. I know which one I am - how about you?
And about why I said that per PN: Other than you, I'm well educated and don't flame around in the threads. If I have something to tell to one single member, I send a PN to him/her instead of spamming around.

Boy, I'm not starting a flame war, I'm just reacting to an already started one - read your posts again and then think about who of us is the flamer.
Well I'm not in the mood to argue around on this niveau, so if you still need someone to insult, find someone else.

Don't start a flame war with me, kid...you'll be sorry! Yeah. How are you going to make him sorry? Brag more about how you donated 60 dollars to Cactus? Type some more foul comments over the internet? Once again you're still obsessed with money. In fact you are "stroking Cactus' dick" more than I or any other member is. You gave him 60 dollars and you are now in charge of his financial businesses? What next? Are you going to start holding his penis while he pisses? And no one is trying to start flame wars with you. You started them yourself with all these idiotic comments. It seems like every topic on this forum is a debate topic because people like you come along trolling up the forums. Seriously how do you expect people to respond to your comments? How could you possibly enjoy your time here now after all this? Plus Cactus already releases some games earlier to people who he likes. Just because you donated doesn't mean you're the only one who gets that feature. I would love to donate to Cactus one day but when I do I'm not going to start flame wars over it. I'm done talking to you. I'm not responding to any sort of comments directed towards me or about me. So you can say whatever you want just to let you know I'm not going to respond. I'll be the peace maker here (although nothing can stop the rage of a child, maybe some balloons would do) and stop. I'm sure you're still going to go on trolling about the forums regardless, but I'm throwing in the towel. I'm also not going to post here for awhile. I'm going to give this forum a break to regain the intelligence I lost because of this flame war.

I take no pleasure in your departure. For 30 years, Alejandro Jodorowsky and Allen Klein feuded over the rights to Jodorowsky's films, one having the power to create the films...the other to destoy them (in a round about way). After 30 years, a few kind words was all it took to make amends. What a waste of time and talent, I say. Not long ago, I was in Jodorowsky's shoes (in a sense). I'd begun the unbelieveably exhaustive task of learning the ins-and-outs of the Half-Life engine while working and going to school -- to some it comes easy, but I've had to work (HARD) for everything I've attained...and this would be no different. Long story short, disputes over off-topic opinions got me and a few others banned from some connected forums...I was inconsolable. At that time I thought I might never reach my creative potential, nor would the friends I'd made there, who'd enthusiastically encouraged me along the way, ever see the fruits of my (ALL of our) hard work. I gave up. Fast forward: I'd been fortunate in all other aspects of life -- School's done, and I work far less...but I still have that insatiable creative bent. Taking the advice of my friend, I started looking at GM games (I'd played a few all along, but now I gawked at them), which quickly brought me here. I purchased the GM beginners guide recently and try to encourage game makers in any way I can -- money is of no importance when you are unfulfilled in your desired field, let me tell you. I said garbage things to some of you and for this there's no excuse -- I'm passionate and at the time I was tequila-ass drunk, but this is not a viable excuse and I know it. At the end of the day I know Jodowrowsky is Jodowrowsky, regardless if he'd ever made a film. I'm still not sure about me. If I ever say a cross word here again repost this ...please stay.

That sounds like a pretty honest call for a truce. I reset your karma, so let's try to start over with a clean slate, eh? Also, good luck with GM. It's definitely works incredibly well as a creative outlet when you've familiar with it. Feel free to post any of your games in the showcase section

...All that stuff was MY fault, man, and it won't happen again.
That pic is from my (sadly) unfinished Zombie Master level done using the Half-Life engine. The ZM mod is readily available (free of charge) to anyone that owns HL2 and is connected to the Steam engine. A RTS/FPS hybrid, allowing up to 15 players (I believe) to complete a large variety of missions while facing off against a single ZM that can spawn and control a horde of zombies.

Well this topic sure turned out to be disappointing! Has anyone made any shirts? I'd love a nice black Mondo one.
Pretty busy these days... but maybe I'll break out the silkscreen and make myself one.

On the new XBLA update with the avatar service there is a shirt that has a man with a TV head riding a skateboard. Coincidence? I think not.
