Godammit Akhiloth, now I'm all melancholy, I might as well say what may be a good-bye. From someone even younger than Akhiloth I've got to say that the people here will have a fairly large impact on my life. Just looking through this thread I can see the crazy amount that has changed over the past ~5 years. Bands, art, tons of things I would never have been exposed to, I could thank this board for. Even if the object of this boards affection is surviving off of funds from some guy in Canada, these boards weren't just about his games. They were about looking at things from a different angle. This all sounds sappy as shit and I'm gonna stop now.
Thanks to everyone that made this forum as wonderful as it was.

This site doesn't exactly rock, and definitely needs a lot more moderation and work. The pink background definitely isn't great, and the logo is pretty lame, in my opinion. It looks like it was made in MS Paint. The games aren't the best, either. A lot of them are still unfinished. If I read correctly, you only have one moderator, which is yourself. As your site grows and changes, you're going to need a lot more moderators. I would suggest choosing a couple good users who know the site well, can help out a lot, and are good users in general. They would have the ability to ban users. You must choose very carefully, though. If you choose someone who is not responsible, they could end up banning everyone, which would not be good. If you are looking for moderators, I would be interested. Please contact me. I would also be able to help out with updating the site, adding new features, and I think I would help a lot. Of course this would be completely voluntary. I am not asking for any pay. Anyway, it needs work, but it definitely has a lot of potential. Also, congrats on making it into TIME's top 50 websites. I'm reluctant to post in an area where any feedback is good but you've got some flawed argument. The site doesn't really need anymore moderation, it is always going to be small and posts are few and far between. How the site looks is dependent on who is looking at it. I think it looks great. As a last note, the site doesn't need anymore features, it is meant to show some games, the forum is meant to talk about said games, if you want more than this probably isn't the site for that.

I would play this one to the end even if it had 500 levels. What if it had 501 levels?

First off, the game is kind of glitchy. It zoomed in at random times (it may have been intentional but it didn't feel that way to me), and the game canceled out right before I was about to fight the truck.
Mouse controls would have been nice and, until it is finished and I have some semblance on how to play it, I won't give my opinion on the game itself.

well, I'm pretty sure it doesn't do games but the is a program called Synfig ( www.synfig.org/Main_Page ) that allows flash animation for those not willing to put down the ridiculously large amount of cash for flash. Update! SInce this isn't a animation site try out FlashDevelop with the flex SDK ( www.flashdevelop.org/wikidocs/index.php?title=Main_Page ) everything is on the wiki to get you started. You might also want to use the Flixel API for this ( www.flixel.com ) it doesn't allow vector (very well at least) but it is pretty easy to learn and the games made from it so far are pretty cool.

My only complaint about your games I'd say is that while the shmups are simple and effective at being fun, the adventures are also really short. GCTTC had closure and was fine in that respect, but Psychosomnium really left me wanting more, and I saw potential for more. A while ago you said you were considering taking on a longer project or two, and I would suggest a longer adventure game. Brain Damaged Toon Underworld was originally the sequel to Psychomnium but then evolved into its own story- I would bet money that when it comes out you'll see tons of similarities.

I was staring at the image and I don't think it's real. The folds of the shirt don't match up with the image and the quality of the shirt and image are different (the shirt is taken from a camera while the image is totally digital)

What is skateboards? A skateboards has no special shapes or sound! No one knows why they're different than surfboards. Yet everyone wonder how's to ride it! But I already knows... It's is right underneath my foots. Preacher riding a skateboard pbfcomics.com/?cid=PBF244-Preach_Skate.jpg

Played the manipulator and black shades before my PC got tore down. I was planning on playing cortex command but I have to get acquainted with my new OS. Black shades is hard (the best thing to do on the first level is go to the freaky red and white type thing) and the manipulator (though cool) I didn't have the patience for.

The design is great. My only complaint it that the games section doesn't have a link to the blog. That's not a big deal, though. Also, I'm getting a 404 when I try to download Xoldiers and Precision. That is because the website that is hosting it (64digits.com) is down but expects to be up soon.
