Do you have a copy of Techno Zombie and is there any chance of a re-make/sequel?
I loved that game, it was really trippy.

Hey cactus, Could you give a brief explanation of how you handle your particle effects? I know you mentioned that you do yours manually and I'd love to know where to start in terms of code.
Thanks, amigo.

Now that I think of it, when I see the development time on your Games section on the main site, does that indicate the work time that was put into the project or the duration that you've worked on it (including breaks)?
Example: Did you work on Mondo Medicals for a total of 72 hours? - or - Did you work on Mondo Medicals on a 3-day time period?
and
Did you work on Clean Asia on a 2-month time period? - or - Did you work on Clean Asia for a total of 1,416 to 1,464 hours?
I'm just wondering.

What did you use to make your website?

does that indicate the work time that was put into the project or the duration that you've worked on it (including breaks)? That actually varies from case to case. I usually include some break time, though. I used a trial version of Macromedia Dreamweaver to make the website.

Where do you get the sound effects in your games,or what did you use to make them? Since sound effects are very important, and i always seem to fall short in this area.

These days I'm using sfxr (just google it) by DrPetter. Awesome tool. Get a good sound effect in one click or so.

Well, most of it I've learnt by experimenting with different functions that I read about in the manual. But in the beginning I asked around the Game Maker communities a bit whenever I had trouble with something. Good places for questions: gmc.yoyogames.com/www.gamemakergames.com/forum/

Is Clean Asia's China level MEANT to be linear? I found out that the rockets and their launcher ships score 0 points, so I was wondering if there was some secret mechanic towards pulling off a no-generator boss run.
A no-generator boss run would supply these challenges: For the Attractor, its only means of defeating the boss are its battering ram and its battering ram alone. For the Reflector, it would mean fighting with whatever power you have now (maxxing out recommended and 1LC required to make this plausible)
I would think that there would be some reward for this.
Also, I think there should be bonuses for certain conditions reached, sort of like achievements. My suggestions for such achievements are:
China (both ships) - No generator clear China (attractor) - All-thrust boss clear China (reflector) - No shield boss clear New Korea (attractor) - No turret clear General (both ships) - Spare life bonuses General (attractor) - All-thrust clear General (reflector) - No bomb clear General (reflector) - No shield clear
I didn't want to come up with the point values because I thought it would be best if you thought of a fair score for these achievements. Clean Asia Arrange Mode, perhaps?

A very interesting idea! But I don't think the chances of seeing a Clean Asia re-release are very good, though It sure would be a nice improve of the gameplay factor, but the game is finished the way it is and I doubt there will be any more add-ons (unfortunately; I'd LOVE to see something like achievements in this game).

When in doubt, make a fan game. When in DESPERATION, make a fake ADVERTISEMENT for said fan game.
