Are you aware your .xm files in some of your games can be played on Winamp with all of their sound channels active*?
*Clean Asia feels like it's missing a few sound channels, but it probably must have to do with the plugin [that lets you play .xm files in Game Maker games].

Wasn't sure about the channels, but yeah. The songs aren't exclusively made for the games (usually I just steal them of the web). I try to include the authors of the songs' names when I can, otherwise, you can always look at the songfiles to see who made the tracks.

Do you happen to still have a game from a year or two ago about a guy jumping about rooftops, attempting to collect beer bottles, while a trippy sun stretched it's beams to the music?
I have a urgent desire to play it.

Do you really make all of your games with Game Maker? That's really amazing if you don't do any coding at all.
It's actually pretty inspirational if that's the case.

Hehehe, Game Maker involves a lot of coding. I originally didn't use any when I started out (Insect Invade 2 and Retro on my games page don't use any code), but these days all the gameplay is done through scripts. The coding language for GM is very easy to get the hang of, though. Especially if you're familiar with the drag & drop equivalents.

If I ever manage to make something with a light engine, I am stealing that idea.

Cactus do you have a mp3 of the Song in Clean Asia Thailand map? may i please have it lol best song ever A: It's an .xm file that is extracted when you boot Clean Asia the first time on your computer. You need Winamp to play those, but maybe someone can encode it into MP3 for you. Also, your website just went kaput.

Website is back up, thank god. I almost got a bit worried there for a while. I had forgotten to put a banner for freedomain.co.nr on my news site. Their service is actually good so I should've made sure not to forget it. Oh well, let's hope it doesn't happen again

Here, I compiled a folder on rapidshare.com with the tunes from Clean Asia! converted to mp3 format. I tagged them properly, and even made a playlist. rapidshare.com/users/5KWP0H

Did you ever do anything more with the Arms game you made for the Poppenkast (why does my spell check know this word?) 3 hour competition? As crazy game mechanics go, that was some of your best work.
