Now, let me begin to say that I am a big fan of both Shotgun Ninja and Mondo Medicals. What I've seen of Mondo Agency is also awesome, even though I haven't played far through it yet. I was amazed by how much the developer succeeded in creating an atmospheric 3D environment with only just Game Maker to make it with. The Mondo games were incredibly advanced and interactive, and it at times felt actually three-dimensional (though both games consisted of 2D NPCs, the cube head in Agency was a convincly done 3D sprite). I had been pondering what a sequel to Shotgun Ninja would look like with the engine capabilities of the Mondo games, particularly Mondo Agency. Imagine being able to do all the acrobatics in Shotgun Ninja, particularly the clinging to the ceiling part, and integrating them with the gameplay and graphics of Mondo Agency. The enemies would still be 2D, and resemble what they have in the previous game, but the levels would all be complex and in Mondo-styled 3D. The weapons could stay the same: the shotgun and grenades. It would be interesting to incorporate a sword or shuriken, but the weapons system should be kept simple. Is Game Maker capable in making such a game possible, since it was used to create Mondo Medicals and Agency?
