Just a primitive test game inspired by Echoes, that I made to try out a vector engine I created a few hours ago.

Pretty cool! Very primitive indeed though. Liked the graphics much yes.

Also it is very fun and exciting so far.

nifty, I'm adoring the music. You've done this in GM6 though which is a little bit irritating - you should update it with this - as with all game maker games to save your vista-using fans a little trouble. Thanks!

I've been playing this game for a bit, and I really think it's amazing how you can make such graphics look pretty while they are usually, well, crap. (Of course, made crap on purpose)

Hmm. This game and every other cactus game I've tried to play always gives me an error upon execution and crashes. Is there some DLL I need perhaps?

You need to extract the game to a folder before playing, simple as that ;)

Ah, I had already tried that with mondo medicals and it didnt' work, but I tried again and it has worked with other games. mondo still gives the error after extraction. (btw, sorry this is kind of off topic, I couldn't work out how to create a new thread)

i think this is definitely my favorite cactus game thus far -- incredibly addictive. other fans of this game should check out this review i found on youtube, it's totally absurd....

Ok
a) The music is GREAT
b) I can change graphics with spacebar :D
c) The vector style hooks up!
d) I just couldn't stop playing!!
AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING GAME!

But maybe you should add some trials to it like they did in echoes. That would make everything more interesting.

I especially like it when the squares you shoot and the background is the same color.
You die quite fast... but it's fun!
