I'm thinking about making another Mondo game when I get some free time. So I thought I'd check two things. The first one is which of the games you guys liked the most, and the second is what kind of game the third should be.
Select one of the 1:s and one of the 2:s. Also, a comment on what you like/dislike about the previous two games would be helpful.
Thanks!

I prefered the more open environments in Mondo Agency.

I dont like the lack of exploration in games so mondo as an adventure would be awsomeness in my opinion.although you definatley need some action elements from the second game, and puzzle is a must in a mondo game.

Thanks for the response guys!
@irrenhaus3: I don't see any reason to put an end to the series. The games are very short, not even up to a tenth of the playtime you get in a typical fps.

Puzzle and Ambiguity are a must. I don't think FPS is even important in light of those two. Also, the whole Mondo atmosphere is what makes the games Mondo.

I just finished playing Agency. I enjoyed both but definitely prefer Medicals.
The Medicals monologues seem more focused. Agency's introduced level concepts well, but had no clear relation to the story / theme.
Medicals' puzzles were all great. Agency's more puzzling levels were nice, but the shooting levels were a bit too frantic and took me out of the nonsensical atmosphere. I'm not sure why, but while fun in itself (especially the rising blocks level), I rather the puzzles.
Platforming was generally frustrating except the level with different colored platforms coming together, which I actually liked a lot!
I also agree with the general sentiment that an adventure would be fun to try since it's new to the Mondo series. Puzzles would still fit in somewhere though, I'd hope. And while the shooting put me off a bit in one or two levels of Agency, I wouldn't necessarily say take it out. If it were more relaxed and perhaps tied into the puzzles somehow, I'd probably like it more.

One second.
♥♥♥ third Mondo game aaaaahhhhhh HOORAY ♥♥♥
Okay, I voted Medicals / Adventure! Like irrenhaus said, we've had one puzzler and one shooter already, so rounding it out with adventure would be a good idea. That way, if you decide to make more beyond Mondo 3, you'll know which genre you feel most comfortable with working in, too.
The previous posters have all pretty much hit my personal nails on the head, though, in terms of what I liked best about each game. Medicals had this pervasive feeling of unavoidable doom, which was great, and the corridors and nightmare puzzles made you feel like you were going insane. In Agency, I appreciated the more open environments, but especially the interaction the player had with other characters. It made it feel like you were exploring more of a complete world.
In terms of story, I think Medicals' held together better than Agency's, but that story was also less complex. I really enjoyed both monologue styles, though. The Boss's lines were enjoyable to read, but I think I'd prefer them if they tied into a unified story like the Priest's did instead of relating on a stage-by-stage basis.
Also, this is more wishful thinking than anything else, but I hope we can see the Priest again sometime. Maybe as a cameo or something!

Medicals/Puzzler. There should be more first-person puzzlers in the world.

I would love to see another Mondo game. Mondo Daycare has a nice ring to it. But you should make whatever you want in the next Mondo game.
I thought the Vocals in Agency were kind of calmer than Medical. Maybe find a middleground between them?

Hell, if we're suggesting titles, I've always been fond of Mondo Tech.

Lol fawful, but I think not :D
Judging from the major teaser video you made a while ago, I suggest the names "Mondo Station" or "Mondo Transport"

Road is an another word for path. I've traveled much roads and many paths. They led me to a dead end. So when I find a road, I look at it... And then imagine my own path. This path took me here today. |
