A short, first attempt at bullet hell, and a little bit of playing with lines. Lines don't hurt you but the little squares do, so avoid them at all costs.

Getting shot halves your score.
After one minute, the boss appears.

I basically posted here because I too am usually found making abstract minigames. This is by no means my best game, but it is my newest, so I thought I'd post it here. :)

I like the graphics, but it feels like it doesn't know exactly what it wants to accomplish and wasn't very satisfying to play. The enemies were very static and there was very little sense of being powerful at all when playing. The enemies didn't seem to respond to being shot and could take a ton of hits without dying. The effect of the lines also didn't convince me, as the bullets didn't feel like they were connected at all, and that the lines disappeared as soon as th bullets hit the edges of the screen.

Keep working on it, or move onto your next project and make sure it's a bit more polished and I'm sure you'll eventually come up with something great ;)

One sugestion.
I found i could only move up and down,if thats intended and not some wierd 'me'related glitch,then add some x movment.
